The Caicos Cat: A 43 foot x 19.5 foot Power Catamaran: Custom Designed Boat for Caribbean Scuba Diving:

The Caicos Cat was custom designed by Fifi, put to plan by a well known naval architect specializing in catamaran designs, then built especially for our dive application. The "Caicos Cat" is unique and the only scuba diving boat of its type on the planet!

Everything that a dive operator or a sport diver would dream off !! It is the limousine of the SEAS !

We are often told, "this is the best dive boat I've ever been on"! And it probably is the best day trip boat in the World! Speed to comfortably cruise a rough Caribbean sea at 24 knots. Powered by two 315 HP Cummins Diesel engines, The "Caicos Cat" allows you to access the most pristine sites on days when other local dive operators are choosing more "localized" dive moorings that often see one boat after another... one group of divers right after another... creating over-dived-conditions. The double hull catamaran significantly smooth out the wave chop of the sea. As much as we hate to mention negatives, the honest truth is that on choppy days, some customers get seasick.... The Caicos Cat drastically reduces this possibility because of its smooth ride and spacious seating located both outside and inside. One of the best features about the Caicos Cat (especially for the ladies) is the full size bathroom, with a full sit down flushing toilet, sink, mirror to brush your hair, and locking door. This is not a boat where you have to cover the forward cabin with an oversize beach towel, and squat over a portable head, or stand up on the ladder behind the boat!

Additional features include Caribbean music in stereo and music CD, full dive platform and two access ladders, shaded canopies, first aid kits & oxygen, safety bar at 15 ft with safety regulator, descent line, and two floating drift lines on each side to hold onto before and after each dive. Also ask about bringing your non-diving companion aboard for the day, just experiencing this boat is a plus!

The Cat 54: Exactly as the name implies: A 54' dual hull power cat, also custom designed and custom built to suit our operation:

Launched in April of 2005, The Cat 54 is the newest addition to our fleet. Because of its 54 foot length, this custom scuba diving boat provides a very smooth ride, with minimal "up/down" and "left/right" rolling in 4 to 5 foot swells. We are amazed at how well this boat tackles the elements. In addition during construction we incorporated fiberglass front hull skirts (flanges). These skirts re-direct sea spray "out and away" from the boat versus sea spray soaking passengers during the ride. Other ammenities include a full sized bathroom [not just a head] with a full sit down toilet, counter space and mirror. Although the Cat 54 has the size to hold 40 divers x 2 tanks, we limit peak capacities to approximately 23 divers in aggregate- for the purpose of not to be considered a "cattle car" operation.

The Hercules: A Smaller Power Catamaran: Custom Designed and Imported from Australia... Used for Specialty & Private Dive Trips.
People always ask me, "why in the world would you buy a boat from Australia"? The answer is, "we couldn't find any boat builder that offers the kind of design, space, and sea worthiness that the Hercules has". This accentuates all the precision that we put into our operation. "No, it was not cheap to get this boat imported to Turks & Caicos from Australia, but this is the boat that we wanted, the boat that was best for our operation". This small craft surpassed all other boats in its size classification for comfort, space, speed, and diving efficiency.

This double hull power catamaran was also designed to smooth the ocean chop while cruising back and forth to Turks & Caicos dive sites in quick time. The Hercules is also kept in impeccable condition... when peering under the engine covers, you will see no engines any cleaner than these! Again, reflecting owner FiFi Kunz' demanding perfectionism and desire to have the best dive program in the Caribbean. It is powered by two brand new commercial 200 HP Yamaha outboard engines, has a steady cruising speed of 35 knots, and a top speed of 50 knots! Perfect for private charter, snorkeling, cruising, small group adventure, night dives and beach pick-ups.
